614 started in a home in Upper Arlington late November 2014. With just a small handful of adults and a few kids, the journey began. After several months in the house, we moved to an elementary school, and then in early 2017 into Centennial High School. Recently we were able to get our very own building in the short north area of Columbus. Our new home address is: 95 W 5th Ave. We continue to grow in the knowledge of God, and grow as more people get to know Jesus!
At 614 we believe you will find a community of people who love and follow Jesus! You will find people passionate about the things of God, about seeking His presence, about loving everyone wholeheartedly, and about growing in our journey with Jesus.
Everything we do is guided by one phrase: “Until Everyone Knows Jesus.” Explore our mission, belief and values and learn more about our story.
“…go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” – Matthew 28:19
David and Kathy Swart were born and raised in South Africa. After getting married, they moved to Chicago where they were involved with various churches, and were on the pastoral team of Church in the City in Chicago. Early 2014, they moved to Columbus, Ohio where David holds a leadership position at a local bank. Along with their 4 kids, they are passionate about seeing an authentic expression of Christianity lived out in this city with the intent mission to see everyone have an opportunity to know Jesus.

The Biblical Scriptures (the Old and New Testaments) in their original writing, are fully inspired of God. We accept them as the full and final authority for faith and life.
There is one God, and He eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary and is true God and true Man.
God created man in His image. Man sinned and thereby justly incurred the penalty of death (physical and spiritual), and all human beings inherit a sinful nature which results in actual transgression and personal, individual guilt.
The Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins as a substitutionary sacrifice. All who believe and trust in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood.
The Lord Jesus Christ was resurrected in full bodily form. He ascended into heaven, and He is presently seated at the right hand of God the Father as our High Priest and Advocate.
The Lord Jesus Christ will personally return to earth.
We believe in the personality of the Holy Spirit, in His regenerating work and in His abiding presence in the true believer. The Holy Spirit indwells all believers in Jesus. Jesus Christ has given the Holy Spirit to be the Comforter and Empowerer of the Church, to produce the fruit of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit in accordance with the Scriptures.
All who repent of their sin and receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit and become children of God.
All Christians are called to a life of holiness, devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ and service to Him.
Both the just and the unjust will be resurrected. The redeemed will receive the eternal blessedness of the presence of God, while the unredeemed will suffer the eternal banishment from God as a result of rejecting the offer of salvation.
The ascended Christ has given various ministries or ministers to the Church in order to bring all believers to maturity in the understanding of truth, and the performance and function of the ministry.
All believers in Jesus Christ are called to fulfill the Great Commission.
God has never removed the gifts of the Holy Spirit from the Church.
The miracles as recorded in the Bible are real in their entirety and are possible in the present day.
614 Church is a part of a network of churches called New Covenant Ministries International (NCMI). We partner with NCMI to help reach the nations for the gospel. NCMI team members visit our church to equip us for the work of the ministry. (Ephesians 4:11)
NCMI is a trans-local ministry team, with an apostolic heart, that is comprised of men and women who, through partnership, help pastors/elders build their local churches to equip and mobilize believers for the fulfillment of the work of the Kingdom and the discipling of the nations.
Pastors, churches, and individuals from more than 100 countries around the world are partnering with NCMI, embracing an apostolic-prophetic model to participate in the various opportunities for envisioning, encouragement, training, and church planting.
