Hello friends! I’m Esther De La Cruz and if you’re reading this you probably already know that. I’m currently a second year college student at Columbus State studying human development, with the ultimate desire to be led into whatever good works Jesus has prepared in advance for me for His glory. Some quick facts about me: my parents are from the Dominican Republic, I’ve been leading Young Life at Centennial High School for a year or so now, and I am very grateful you are reading this! I have also been graced with time to be involved with my local church’s (614 church) college ministry. It has honestly been a joy and challenge these past couple of years walking in the calling we all have to minister to the lost. Jesus has revealed His unchanging love, abundant strength, and full freedom He continuously offers me and you.

With that being said, this coming semester in August I will be joining 614 church’s college ministry staff! As I’ve grown in my intimacy with the Lord, He has burned my heart for what has always burned His; for this generation to know Him. Living on campus has evidently shown me the need college students have for the only Truth that will lead them to eternal life. In the midst of the decline of believers in this generation, 614college launched this past August with the intent to live out 614’s mission statement, “Until everyone knows Jesus.” This past year, we’ve cultivated a space every Thursday night for college students to be known, worship our King, and get to know more of Him. We’ve seen many be touched by His Spirit, people come to salvation, and a growth in reverence and hunger to be like Jesus. We are very expectant for the Lord to continue to move in His unique, perfect ways to draw people close to Himself this coming year.

I’d love to invite you to partner up with us in prayer, for His will to be done on college campuses as it is in heaven. I also ask you to consider helping support me financially. My role on staff is a fully fundraised position and my goal is to raise $40,000 for the year. Your support is so deeply appreciated.
