It has been such a sweet yet challenging season. For those who may not know me, I’m Esther De La Cruz, and I’m currently on staff with 614College. In August, I’ll officially mark one full year of being on this staff team.
It has been a privilege to say yes to the call God has placed on my life: to minister to His people across Columbus. This year, I’ve had the incredible honor of witnessing students meet Jesus for the very first time, step into a life-giving community, boldly say yes to God’s call to partner with Him, and ultimately surrender their lives fully to know Jesus more and make Him known.
Because of your generosity, I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside 614 Church this past year. Your sowing has allowed me to spend one-on-one time with young women desperate for friendship, invest in building a healthy, Christ-centered community, and engage in outreach efforts to reach students who might otherwise never step into a church.
As our team and ministry continue to grow, we are seeking even greater ways to fulfill our mission: to empower college students to sacrificially give themselves to God’s greatest commands — to love.
With that being said, I’m excited to share that I will be continuing my time with 614College for the next two years! The Lord has continued to burden my heart with what has always burned on His — that this generation would know Him. We are full of expectation, believing the Lord will continue to move in unique and powerful ways to draw people to Himself.
I would love to invite you to partner with us in prayer — praying that His will would be done on college campuses as it is in heaven.
I also ask you to prayerfully consider supporting me financially. My role is fully fundraised, and my goal is to raise $45,000 per year — a total of $90,000 over two years.
