SYDNEY graneyHi friends, my name is Sydney Graney! This past year has been full of exciting changes. I graduated from The Ohio State University, started a new job, and married my wonderful husband, Sean. One of the greatest blessings has been serving alongside Sean as he joined the 614 College ministry staff.
When I came to Ohio State as a freshman, I encountered Jesus in a life-changing way through a campus ministry. The Lord transformed my life, gave me incredible friendships, and even introduced me to my husband. Because someone invested in me during such a pivotal season, I discovered what it looks like to truly follow Jesus.
Throughout college and after graduation, I have had the opportunity to disciple young women, lead small groups, and share the gospel with students on campus. At the same time, my work serving refugees and immigrants and studying Russian deepened my love for people from every nation and strengthened my desire to see the gospel reach all people. I love that 614 shares this mission by equipping students to love God, their campus, and the world.
After a lot of prayer, Sean and I believe the Lord is leading me to step into part-time ministry with 614 College. I am excited to spend more of my time investing in students and helping them encounter Jesus the same way I did.
Over the past year, we've watched God faithfully provide as Sean built his team of ministry partners. Now, I'm trusting Him again as I begin raising support for this next season.
